Kids Yoga Summer Series

Join us for a 4-class kids yoga series this summer!

Kids Yoga combines creative movement and play with traditional yoga principles. In each class, children are encouraged to move, breathe deeply, and have fun through yoga poses, games, stories, and imaginative activities connected to a weekly theme. Classes help build community, body awareness, confidence, and concentration in a joyful and supportive environment.

For 45 minutes each week, we will pretend we are at special places in Seattle during the summertime. Each one is connected to the principles of yoga!

Meet the Teachers

Madeline Voight

Madeline discovered yoga in 2010 while studying to become an early childhood educator. What began as a search for balance and movement during a transitional season of life quickly became a lifelong practice, offering countless gifts both on and off the mat.

For more than a decade, Madeline has worked as an elementary school teacher and instructional coach, supporting children’s growth, curiosity, and confidence. She earned her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification in 2025 and her Kids Yoga certification in 2026.

Her classes weave together storytelling, movement, mindfulness, and open-ended exploration to create a playful and inviting space. When she’s not teaching, Madeline enjoys reading, traveling, taking long walks, and gathering friends and family around good food and laughter.

Mariann Carle

Mariann Carle is a certified yoga instructor who loves working with both children and adults. A longtime advocate for children and families, she believes that love, laughter, movement, and breath are some of the greatest gifts we can offer our children. Through yoga and play, she helps children build confidence, body awareness, self-love, and meaningful connections with themselves and others.

Before becoming a yoga teacher, Mariann had a long career as a medical professional. Outside the studio, she volunteers at a preschool and with medical outreach programs, and enjoys reading, sewing, hiking, biking, walking, and making music. She is married to a kind and funny husband and has an amazing adult daughter.
